We LOVE shooting in GALVESTON!! Whenever you get the opportunity to shoot in Menard House…it pretty much captures just about everything historical about Galveston. The Menard house, built in 1838 is the oldest surviving structure on the island. It was in this vintage theme that we documented the first scene of Erik & Stephanie. The outdoor areas of the mansion were just as beautiful since the Oak Trees protect the lawn from direct light. The next scene was beautiful in its own way since we shot on the Colonel Paddlewheel boat which was a replica of the boats from the 1800’s. The couple’s colorful outfits went beautifully with the vibrant colors on the boat.
